BF2 tweaks and stuff

With the release of the 1.5 patch I just got this game up and running again. It has been a while since I have played BF2 a whole lot and I found some things that were useful. I thought I would share.

Tweaks

The steps on removing the intro movies and setting the shortcut for account auto-logon were helpful. Maybe you will find them helpful, too.

This reduces memory usage and is also perfectly working with ranked servers.

I want to be the first to say to all of UAN THANK YOU. UAN has made a long time goal of ours happen by bringing UAN and PS together. Looks like we have been checked out and ditched!

Only one real issue can cause this. It seems like we do not have enough Admins to Moderate the server (Banning and Kicking of Hacking script kiddies). Hence causing all of the legit players to leave. I for one have enjoyed the few hours that I have played on our new server. I like the setup and it is condusive to having fun and obtaining ranked points and stats. But to make this server work, it has to be moderated. I don't know what exactly has...

Ok i know we used to have a BF2 server and no one would come on and blah blah blah. But before you guys try and rip me a new one. Why not try and consider reopening up a server for bf2 and closing like the COD1 server. I'm sure alot of us have the game and play it so why not have the game run with the UAN tags on. It could be ranked or unranked (don't care) but i think it would be cool if we could just all get on our own server and fuck around on it.
