Installed the game
Installed 1.1 patch
Installed 1.2 patch
Installed client side 1.2 crack

Then i opened xfire and im trying to connect to the server but that wont work and if i try and open the client without xfire (to use /connect) it doesnt work.

EDIT: oh and btw im trying to connect to the 3000xp server

Got bored and tried to connect to the server on CoD4 to find versions dont match. Read around, see there's a new CoD, woohoo.

anyways...

I'm fairly illiterate now and well behind the times with anything CoD-related and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to install the new release and connect to a UAN server...without buying the game. IS...

I get a very slow black screen for like 3 minutes at each step of initializing the game
I get going on SP and play for a few minutes and its not running too bad at all
then I switch from SP to MP and join a server

game is now running 2x better on MP
