I haven't had any disconnects since changing settings. It does remove my computer from the home network, but that was expected.
the only fix that makes sense, is spending a grand to upgrade you computer so that bf3 works again. consider me a success story
I tried to find a screen shot, or list of processes that "gamebooster" closes, and couldn't. I have used it before, with good results. I bet some or all of the settings I configured are handled by it. I may try it again, because when i need to use my homegroup, as rare as that is, I need to use my homegroup.
W7 performance mode is all you need to worry about. Everything else is just crap that sits in your taskbar and takes up resources it claims to remove.
