Good read about Titanfall and the Source engine they have customized: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-vs-respawn-the-titanfall-interview
this game looks promessing, even though its a hawken look a like,i still have an eye on it for a long time.you gonna get it shark?
Going to wait until it releases. Not interested in Alpha testing another AAA release. But, it does look like it may mix things up a bit.
agree, now a days the swag is to buy Alpha/Beta review games, early access games, what ever they wanna call it.no sir,im not going to get that train,no sir!
max 6 v 6.. and bots. I don't know guys. It looks great and it gives me the feeling I really would enjoy it but I already own a copy of Brink.. (which is an awesome game btw..)
I'm dead serious. I got it on release and it was one of my most anticipated wanna-plays ever. It was terribly buggy on release, which they did fix ok enough, but by the time it was playable in MP with out screen freezes and no sound issues all the players had gone.. It's still a great game I think, only had some stuff not working out for it. Received the short end of the stick I guess. The premises on the game was great. A free-running fps with different move sets and weapon load outs for different physical builds playing through story driven level assignments in MP. You could choose your PTFO thingy and do whatever you liked. I had some awesome teamplay experiences in it as well but the bugs kiled it for me. That being said.. I don't now if I want to play a game that is 6 v 6 plus AI bots. I really hope that West and Zampanella pull this one off though, would be awesome to see a decent new IP from them after they crapped all over CoD. They made great games but the fact they gave up on Activision over a money issue instead of creative isssues is still ringing in my ears... They can prove themselves rehabilited first before I buy another game from them ever again. I want a triple A title according to standards they put up them there themselves and not a good idea for making mo'money. What were your issues with Brink btw?
Eddie Murphy is becoming the Forum Mascot these days. I love it. ^ | This! Seriously though, I think it was the bugs and the poor launch overall. The audio bug was kind of a game stopper for me. That and none of the few friends that bought it, stuck with it. If I remember correctly, the BC2 Vietnam server were rolling nicely those days and that game was holding my attention quite well. Brink, just felt like a miss, I guess.
That's what I recall as well. I did install it back a few times and was yet again amazed by the game, not a single co-op partner or server to be found though. I really would have liked to give it another try.
