well, developing an "undetectable" cheat for one of the most popular games is a larger community base I'm sure, than the "White hat" guys trying to fight the cheat scripts. if there even is such a thing.
they are probably more like "Grey Hats" developing the cheat first and selling it to noob kids with credit cards, then offering their services to EA and PB.... Thats how I would do it anyway.
If I were EA, I would build a massive game following over several years, then just as a new version of the game is coming out, I'd release a "hack" or information on how to shut down the server of the old game. All responses to the thousands of user/player questions would be of course "This exploit is not an issue with the lastest version of the game. I suggest you buy it." but hey
