got kiked or somthing

hi, i'm a noob here and to cod generally so when connect to cod2.uanconnect.com it join the server and after a few seconds i get disconnected ( the message that i got kiked vie punk buster plz help[/url]

maybe it is because youre name is unknow soldier... or isn't it? because i thought that you could get kicked by useing that name.

yea my name when i join the server is "unknown soldier " i can c it in the 3 seconds i'm in. but in my game profile its not "unknown soldier "!?
how can i change my net name?

select your profile and than go to multiplayer options. there you can change your player name.

tnx I changed my name and still got kikced out only now it say's "Vodka-RedBull has been kicked"

did you set Punkbuster at Yes... thats below your player name. if it is so, than i dont know what could be the problem, because i am not that smart

This error is a problem with your OS privileges. You are probably logged onto Windows with limited or non-administrator rights. PunkBuster likes for you to have elevated privvies, so try modifying your windows account to increase your privileges or have someone else do it for you.

Also, download the manual update for PunkBuster and update your Pb files.

yes, that is what i was trying to say :roll:

never used pb before, i dl and update it and added cod2 to the list (no idea what it does). The user i use is the only 1 exist and i have admin rights. Its just set as administrator i can't change there anything.
sry about the english and the limited computer knowlage

btw i have russion version of cod2 may it couse the problem?

i'm not exactly sure how to use PBsetup.exe but did intalled , update and added cod2 to the list. yet i get the same message.
