I was wondering if UAN would be down for setting up Call of Duty: United Offensive on a server? Obviously, this wouldn't just be for me. But last night after playing another custom but less-than-awesome map on UAN's COD2 server, I commented about CoD:UO. More than a couple of people responded that they'd be game for joining a CoD:UO server at that moment. With UAN's second CoD2 server not usually drawing a big crowd, I was wondering how realistic it would be for UAN to put CoD:UO on that server for a month and see what happens. Regardless, thanks for the servers!
the uo server draws just as much or less than our second cod2 server. inevitably it becomes just UAN guys on there, which isnt bad by any means, but never seems to be worth it id be happy to be wrong, if there is a big group out there interested please post here and let us know
i am interested in it, but the last time we had a UO server there was never anyone playing on it at the times i was there, that could be because i play earlier on the servers than the most of you guys. And i think maybe a lot of people didn't know that it was there, because most of the players dont go the the site very much, they have to check this site more often. But what i am trying to say is the same thing as waffles said that it don't seems to be worth it
well, we do have a host now that can run the server non-stop no problem and at no extra cost. (I think) We also have the ability to set up a coduo.uanconnect.com hostname. I wouldn't mind playing UO on UO nights. It's fun and everyone has time for a little bit, then it just dies down. btw, welcome biscuits.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Before CoD2 came out, I used to play CoD:UO on a regular basis. I will be emailing all my old COD friends about this ASAP! Again, I really, really appreciate UAN doing something like this! Setting up an entire server as the request of one person - that's dedication! And thanks elmo!
We have a stock UO server up and running with a limited rotation and voting enabled - just to make sure things are operating properly. Keeps those donations coming and help keep the community alive and spawning.
