SHOTGUN NEEDS TO GO

Did u guys fix the Shotguns? cause i was playing and i think i heard a guy shooting like 3 time at me with a shitgun and did not do any damage.

It's funny, I hear all these complaints about the shotgun but I had never used it. I tried it out yesterday on Egypt, a level that is pretty good for it, and actually my score was worse than normal. It could be that I'm just not used to it, but I got into rhythm with the damn things pretty quick. With the whole pumping after every shot and distance drawbacks, you pretty much have to shoot them dead on and not miss or you're fucked. You get one chance, two if you're lucky. Don't see the big deal with it.

when the shotgun is turned to full power, you can learn a style of playing with it. albeit, it is different in the sense that you have to aim at your target. everyone thinks you just run around and people die.

How much is it dumbed down currently?

try using it all game like i did the other day. th biggest annoyance of being killed by it, is the fact that a solid shot doesnt let you dance around lik any MG does.

It's almost impossible to win in an open plane against an MG user who knows what they are doing...and sees you.

That's th only thing, you all know it. It pisses me off too. no one likes coming around a corner and just dropping with no chance for retaliation.

I'd be fine seeing the shotgun gun altogether, but I will at least admit that to be good at using the shot gun takes more skill then an mg, and there are only certain maps/times when the shotgun is even effective.

That's the point I was trying to make, I used it all game and it isn't all that great. A good MG user can and did whip my ass almost every time unless I happened to get lucky. I don't see what all the fuss over this gun is over, if your good you should beat them anyway, if not then hey, you were probably going to die one way or another.
