haha admin hasnt been on for a few days so no luck with that yet but this is still worth it and makes it run alot smoother.

this is making me not want to install WoW. So much hassle.

I got to say, It took me forever to get WoW up and running.

-Large WoW DL
-Corrupt WoW files needing to be quickparred
-Took 20-25 min to install and I did that 3 times
-4 Differernt sources all yielded a corrupt large patch file (20 min per DL)
-finally patch number 5 works after another 20 min DL, then 15 minutes of patching.

then it picked up
-quick patch one minute
-h4ax0r patch 20 seconds
-account creation 2 seconds

COnnect.

I spent quite awhile wondering around on my own in the beginning, mainly killing pigs until one finally killed me. I've never laughed so hard.

Erik showed up after awhle and we ran around doing random quests. Well, I did, and he was patient/kind enough to just stand there and heal me, bring me back to life a handful of times. hahaha.

Then, it was me and Vanubes. That motherfucker spent hours helping me out. Doing shit that would have taken me weeks to be able to on my own. TYold me some things, etc. Big thanks to both.

All in all, there is plenty to keep a single player occupied forever, but I had the most fun when we were working together.

I cant wait until there's like 10 of us killing pigs together.

Butzie i want you to try deleting WTF, WDB, DBfilesclient and your Addons folder then try extracting it into your wow folder again. If that doesnt work then send me the error and ill let an admin know. For some reason the first time i tried it it wouldnt work but it is now for me and a few others and the files that you get are more than worth the effort ingame.

oh, for the addon update. I copied the data and interface folders for backup first. Then I just replaced the honor folder and added in data files that werent there before.

when I tried a simple drag n drop, i couldnt log in. and I didnt delete the folders because i just wanted to update old files and add ones that werent there.

I dont get the honor error anymore, but i dont hink i have all the things you guys do.

If the second way doesnt work then i would try elmos idea but try if possible getting ALL of the addons and things in. Also when you login for the first time after doing it you absolutley have to click on the addons button in the bottom left and hit Enable All to make sure they are running otherwise it would be pointless.

I went back and did this:

backed up both directories, then dragged the new folders over the old ones, and clicked "yes to all"

that way you're not deleting anything you need

works fine.

Of course, i dont know how to use any of the addons

Ya butzie as long as you leave the DBfiles client shit alone it should be fine. Other than that its only addons so putting them in shouldnt cause any problems whatsoever and the game will run better.

You can also download the 10 day trial from blizzard which should be quite a short download and patching it will work just as well as a normal WoW install.

Everyone who downloaded the file up top needs to redownload it from that link. The one i originally posted was bugged up but this is a new version. Ignore the rest of the posts on here as they were only relevant to the previous version of the file and all you need to do now is right click the file and press Exract Files and extract straight into your world of warcraft folder C:\Program Files\World Of Warcraft and press Yes to all when it asks you if you want to replace.
