FAG help please

no worries... one way of finding out if your computer is using any bandwith that you dont know about is using a program called netlimiter... it will tell u which processes are being used and u can limit them too i found out that some programs where downloading shit i didnt even know about a few times... nice tool... go to the thread recommend graphics settings and try to compare yours with the onces posted up there also try and take a print screen of it too i know ppl on here while suggest stuff to you if they got any good ideas

Also don't forget the distance bitween you and the server 'cause if it's big , no matter what connection you'll have ,your ping is going to stay the same . i changed 3 times my internet connection and always the same ping. however don't see it always like a disadvantage ,of course it's one but if you take it like a challenge it becomes more interesting and funny too

Well im used to playing with a 150+ ping, but sometimes it jumps up to 180 and even 230. That sucks, I can compensate the 150 ping by aiming ahead, but it gets harder when my ping is jumping from 153 to 183 and back.... I dunno why its like that. It seems to happen randomly, unrelated to how many people are on.
and of course I dont have any crap running.... and yes Im aware of the distance.

They're actually closing down 2/3 of the red light district. Too much money laundering going on there.

i have the same 'problem' as freddy dont know why that happens.. last day it was jumping from 150 - 310 and back.

I agree. My ping used to be in the 60-70 range, now it's in the 90-100 range, and yesterday I was getting spikes +/-100, which never used to happen. I have changed nothing with my Internet connection and run a clean ship computer wise. I can say that certain maps, especially when the server is full, seem to small and tend to lag. Townville and Iceword both come to mind, which sucks because I love them both I have no idea what's causing it though, just my observation.
