that is more than enough to play COD2. I ran it fine on a geforce 440mx 64mb card for a long time.

    now, i have a 6600 128mb

damnnn... a 64mb card? thats mad... i think the problem i had with mine was that because it was already bought 2nd hand i was bound to get problems with it sooner or later...

dont think ive quite got the settings sussed out yet to get the most out of the card. its still very jerky... ive been looking for a thread i made a while back called recommended graphics settings, but its no where to be found.

try the lowest settings first, than try higher settings to find out what works best

4mmo that card is pretty dam poor m8 to be honest.
i had one of them about 3-4 years ago and even then it was cack and it was a bfg one pre overclocked.

    eh I dunno about that.
I never damaged any card by overclocking it, at least not while using coolbits or riva tuner.
But you paid a little too much for that card imo...

whoa cletus nice card... wanna swap it :p... exactly what u said keeping the settings as low as poss is what i do aswell... im pretty certain everyone else does that too... i use 1028 x 798 (whatever it is im not sure) and turn almost everything else low aswell as the textures low, but ive noticed that if i put my textures up it doesn't make any difference to my gameplay any more...

my system is still jerking tho but thats obviously cos i need a new system now... i may build one its just the matter of me working out how to exactly set jumpers (ive kinda tried to do it before and i was told i need to set these but i have no clue what it does)

hey waffles if you still got that card avalible when i build my new monsturous machine (i hope lol) i may take u up on that offer... how much ram is on that card (if it does have ram)?

freddy those names you posted riva or coolbits, are they a piece of hardware or just software?... ahhh hell tho even if i did pay too much i still got a 1 year warranty with it, its risky of ebay sometimes

mero you must have a really good card? do you know which one u got?

m8 i got a not bad sytem here m8 and i run my settings on optimal system settings and then change res to 800x600 and adjust brightness a bit.

ebay is pretty fine 4mmo if you use common sense and check the seller out, never had a problem here.

btw overclocking is totally safe if you do it in small increments.
thats how most venders make ther cards that bit different by oc'ing them.
BFG only sell pre overclocked cards strait out the shops with lifetime warranty on its cards

have a look on here m8 for lots of different utils for graphics cards

I got a 7900 GTX 512mb, cost about 600. But i first bought a 7950 with 1GB and my computer didn't support it, so i went a step down but i don't complaint at all, the thing flys.

well, its a pre oc'ed card, it wont go any further. perhaps with a volt mod it will.. but i'd rather not try that
