BF2 UAN run server

Ok i know we used to have a BF2 server and no one would come on and blah blah blah. But before you guys try and rip me a new one. Why not try and consider reopening up a server for bf2 and closing like the COD1 server. I'm sure alot of us have the game and play it so why not have the game run with the UAN tags on. It could be ranked or unranked (don't care) but i think it would be cool if we could just all get on our own server and fuck around on it.

I like the idea, but like you mentioned the old one was sitting there empty. And we do not have enough clan members to keep it populated the greater part of the day...

Ok how'bout we do this...

Take a vote as to see who would play the game on a UAN server being that it wont be ranked and then see if we should have it or not.

I don't want to be the one asking for it and then turn out that no one wants it.

and what are the costs to make it a ranked server? and how does that fit in our current budget?

im down for a sandbox server.. just dont give van admin rights.. (lets him have gravity control... ever see a boat 90,000+ meters in the air? i have......)

as far as donations.. you guys are in for a healthy surprise (healthy.. i dunno cuz you might have a dildo for every color of the rainbow when you see it) when i get my taxes back

Apparently i took a little to long to reply but i think Sandbox would be an interesting thing to do. I would enjoy running a Project Reality server but that would probably not be as popular with the download size but i guess it all depends what you guys want to do. I have about 4-5 mods that are interesting to play and quite creative so we should look at what would run best.

not pr.. i mean its ok.. but doesnt really have any fun in it after a while with little people.. plus my ramp PWNS yours

its really nice to be on a huge map with no vehicles around then BOOM you can spawn yourself a chopper right next to you..

i never played bf2... is it better than cod2? (its impssible but i wanna see what you ppl say)

its a more spread out game.. has vehicles.. pretty awesome actually.. the only thing is that most of the bugs arent fixed even tho the game is already v1.41 (patch-wsie)

im gonna downloaded it and check it out soon as i finished my assignments during this month...

make sure your computer can run it before you go out and buy it..
