well my comp has good days and bad days when it comes to cod2. recently its been just freezing and more recently just making my whole computer turn off..kinda weird and i hope it doesnt end up fuckin up my comp for good. it works fine with anything else, i can have photoshop working for like 6 hours and it will be fine, but when i get into cod all shit breaks loose. any ideas?? i know re-install is one but ive done that like 10 times. and it takes to long to set it all up again. fucking russian windows is what i think is the problem. fuckin russians do somethin right for once (jk, keep up the great vodka related work, makes my day go smooth.) *edited by FUZiON Please don't advertise warez/pirated goods or their usage here.
Check the fallowing things as I had a similar problem. The game would freeze for a second and then my computer started running slow. 1. Check for shit inside your computer, I had some dust and that might have been it. 2. Defrag or as I call it "Defag", this helps good. 3. Run something to fix your registry. If you download shit and unistall it, it may still be there. I use registry mechanic. 4. AVG and Spybot are great things to have to run every so often. Hope that helps ya. 1. sorry for adverising. 2. i have done every single one of your suggestions(atleast twice) i have cleaned my fans 3 times this week. 3 checked temp. twice this week(under 50f) re-installed. i guess the only thing i havent checked is my ram drivers( 1 gb of ram) i really think the thing that is screwing me is the russian bullshit that was sent to me (by my fathers school) well i need to wait a while before i get it,(xp) and i will have more info when it gets here. until then i will be off and on.. -violence
