Server Issuses

Hey boys and girls, quick question... I remember there being talk about finding another gaming host, where are we with that topic? I know lately ALMOST everyones pings are either jumping or just plain high (and not the good high drawn). I remember my ping as well as my other house mates (yalzin, stouts, Bernie, Robocop) ping being around 90 and now its anywhere from 120 (on a good day) to 180 (on a bad day) WTF, that's gay! Listen, I know that money is always an issue so I'm willing to throw down a few bucks to help just remember I'm paying my way through college too but I know something is better than nothing at all. Let me know what your thoughts are.

With the ever increasing number of players I think we are again hitting the ceiling of the server's performance and ability to keep up. Of course money is always a problem but I believe that if we work together we can yet again get a better server so that we can ramp our pings down to a suitable level. 90% of Lag however is not caused by connection or server issues but instead by ones Graphical Settings. I recommend everyone tries setting their settings a bit lower first before setting out on the ambitious task of getting another server.

If I am able to get the statistics of the the current server for use in a comparison it would be appreciated.

My Server Recommendations for a Base Server.. Of course we could always improve upon what is there but this is a general idea.

well we will have 50 bucks a month from me from now on.. so the spending limit is a bit less limited..

im up for it, i would love to kill the lag (and all my shit is low.. so fuck off antares )

yeah on the sd server I have a ping like 150 which is very ok compared to the 180-220 I get on the main server. You should try running an older version of the mod, if it can be done.

my main server ping isn't much different that the sd one but i gett like 4 times the lagg when its full(most of the time)

i only get lag when there are 5 or more people over 120 :angry2:
