Visat Installation Error

I am getting the following error when trying to install Vista:

"Windows is unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation"

It is at this point that am I getting the message:


At this point I have already partion and formatted the drive. I searched on the internet for this error message and found the following answer:

But it appears I've lost my motherboard's driver utility CD somewhere along the way (boy am I pissed). So, I thought, why not go and get the drivers directly from the website. So I went HERE and downloaded all the BIOS & Driver items. I burnt them to a DVD and the windows installation scanned them. It said, "No device drivers were found. ...."

Any ideas?

That's not my computer. It's a hot link from a website .....

Jakethesnake told me to reset the Bios and try again ... it looks like it might havev worked ....

33 updates from MSFT = 2 blue screens of death in a row on the restart ...

Ok ... I had not installed any other drivers yet. Now, I've formatted my second drive, installed and updated AVG, downloaded a hard-drive disk imager and getting ready to install the video card drivers. Next time before I update Vista with 33 updates, then I'll use the ghosting software that Butzie gave me. (I hope)

the experience your getting doing this yourself will be very valuable down the road and you'll be glad you toiled through it

Shit yeah! ... I mean I've learned all kinds of crap doing this. It makes it much easier to understand what's wrong when you built the damn thing. I'm glad to know so far my hardware has all performed as it's supposed to.
