Do you want them to be usable on your ipod or just store them there? if use your gonna have to convert them to a format the ipod uses.

audacity is probably your best bet.. or just google ".ogg to mp3 converter".. and no itunes doesnt even know what an .ogg is.. that is unless the latest "point whatever" patch takes care of that (unlikely)

I use Sound Forge 8.0 (there is the 9.0 version already out but even 6.0 will work good for u) or Adobe Audition 1.5, they both are great programs, cool Audio editing softwares, if u decide to use Adobe Audition, do not buy/download the 2.0 version it suxs and it's very unstable you may have installation problems, incompatibñity with XP/vista and plug-in issues cause it does not support other audio plug-ins what suxs not like the 1.5 version what is very stable, "0" problems with installation or compatibility with plug-ins, it takes every plug-in made on the whole earth so... the best option is 1.5 version. Hope it helps you :p

Theres a bunch of large audio/video codec packs out there and i would recommend using the Combined Community Codec Pack which can be found here. www.cccp-project.net
