Start, Run, services.msc

Set any Pnkbst service to automatic, and then start them

If none are found download and run pbsetup from evenbalance:

I got the same screen trying to play in the No BS server, FUZION i did check the services deal and it is in automatic, can i do something else?

AGAIN TONIGHT WTF? I didn't do anything, last night it was fine, please help me. I allready did Fuzion suggestion and it did nothing.

while you were setting the services to automatic did you manually start them? or confirm they were running?

as Butz mentions double check AV and firewall and think of anything you may have installed in the last few days that mey be creating this problem for you

I keep getting kick for "Driver [130451]" whatever that shit means... Next time ill take a screen shot too!

I shut off all AV and still nothing, i don't know how to do anything more, im about to go crazy.

Finally fixed my shit, made a clean sweep of the activision folder and went in to services and restarted punkbuster it did work for now. TY all for the tips.

So I finally found the time to play some cod2 and then I get booted for Service abnormality.. :angry:
I reinstalled punkbuster a couple of times, didnt work for me tho. Help!!

Check to see what you have running in the background that maybe blocking punkbuster... For an example, I believe Peer Guardian was blocking some shit that dealt cod2 so that was why i was getting kicked.

hey thx. It for some reason my compatibility mode was set to windows 95, I set it to xp sp2 and now its working fine again. I was really busy doing school stuff, but I will have more time from now on so... :gunsmilie:
