Ok i got a logitech g5 which was working great untill last week. Since last week i cant adjust my mouse sensitivity using the buttons below the scrolling wheel. I reinstalled mousedrivers without any luck. I checked their website, the solutions they offer dont work. So i wondered if anyone else encountered this problem or knows a solution?

you dont actually need the drivers installed because the mouses firmware controls the sensitivity
setpoint does allow you to adjust the preset sensitivity though...
you could try updating the firmware, but im 90% sure it is already up to date since they havent released new fw in like 7 months...

try reinstalling setpoint, then uninstall it and run ccleaner...
    reboot and try again

Thx for your suggestions, unfortunately they didnt help me to solve this. Like you said, I already got the latest firmware (1.2) installed. However, even when setpoint isnt installed it wont let me adjust the sensitivity, except right after booting. When I just booted up I can change it to a higher sensitivity level just once, but never to a lower rate.

have you reset or flashed your computers bios lately?
there may be some usb options that need changing...
you might see if you can find someone else with the same mouse and see if you have the same problem
