I've just installed the game and I get a error in a message box stating "Error during installization: Video Card or driver doesn't support seperate alpha blend, glow ill be disabled" Does this mean I need to upgrade the card? I currently have a GeForce FX 5500 256 or a 512mb

I got 7600 GT KO. I couldnt imagine anything less being satisfying at all. Im barely cutting it. I here the new 8800 gts is a fantastic buy, for the $200s range. The benchmarks on that for the price range is the hottest card right now for budget gamers.
Yea I got an 8800 gts 640mb and its awesome... but I got the feeling ammo is looking for an agp card... if you want to keep your (old) mobo i'd say get a 7800, but I'd reccomend to get a new mobo and get a 8800

the 7300GT its realy a good card, with overclocking potencial, i think u can play cod4 in 800*600 with low-medium settings. its a good choise, for agp system.
get an x1300 dude... it is indeed made in agp, as is what i have, and i am running 1280x1024 with medium settings
I have actually went out and bought that card yesterday, i got such a bad hangover i cant be risking putting it in my machine yet lol.... Cletus I couldn't find that card in the shops yesterday or I would have got it... there was another ati shappire one which some guy told me to get for £100 but fuck that i rather save £100 on a system Man my machine just feels so old now... im definately getting one for the xmas peroid... should have a good £500 saved up for it then
