My guess is carlito, that if you can afford that 10 Meg pipe your running, you can prolly buy a game for $50 bucks. Just my Logic, but oh well. I believe Activision took the liberty of researching the few torrents out there that were giving CD-keys away with the COD4 game. As long as you are not using one of those you should be ok. Try finding a key gen somewhere...or you can just buy the game like I did. There is a reason why this game is so good...not because they sold so many copies of COD2 for PC, but prolly more because they sold more copies for XBOX 360. Kinda wierd that our current fascination of COD4 is being supported by XBOX Sales. Of course this is just my stipulation, but I know a lot of people who never bought COD2 for PC. I think it is good to pay for things that you enjoy. Those companies that make good games, should get money for what they make.
I bought the game...for the Xbox 360. Of course my 360 breaks a week after I buy it. I'm not about to buy it for the PC too just because Microsoft's machine is a poorly constructed piece of shit. So, while I wait for my 360 to get fixed I figured I'd play on the PC. I used to play COD2 on the server a year or two ago and had hoped you guys were still in existence. I was glad when I saw the site up and running, only to be kicked off the server everytime I joined. And no, I can't afford the 10 meg pipe I'm running; I'm a full time college student supporting myself. If I didn't have a roommate, I wouldn't have the internet. Thanks for the advice though. :ermm:
The first time it happened I used the key that came with the iso. After getting kicked off and reading this post, I used some different ones but not from a keygen (tried like 3-4 from a few different sites). The very last time I tried I used a keygen key and it worked fine. Thanks Cletus and Shark.
