Temporary ban

I was letting my brother play for a while, and suddenly, he gets kicked and banned for no apparent reason. Can someone explain?

server you were on?
time and day it happened first?

also if it says temporary ban, please wait an hour and try again..

Around the time I posted the first message, on the CoD4 non-modded Hardcore Server.
There was no PB message.

I bet it was just punkbuster being retarded, I would update punkbuster and go from there. One of the Admins will check the log to see why punkbuster is kicking you.

I recently updated PunkBuster, so I don't know what caused this.
Anyway, thanks for your help.

if it just says temp banned, it will say temp banned

dont bother to update PB if you have already done so, and wait exactly 1 hour, then try again..

also, what was his name on the server

yes, you are not perma-banned.. just try again once the one hour comes around.. not sure who temp-banned you are for what reason, unless one of our admins wants to confess and give the reason

He was using my profile, named Levi.
He was using a SAW though, you tend to hit quite a lot when you go spraying.
Maybe someone was suspecting him to be aimbotting.
Which is impossible, I don't use any of that crap. You're only fooling yourself by using them.
