Is it a hack or a perk?

I have been noticing my flash bangs don't work on people sometimes. I will be playing on a server that has the kill replay and when I watch it, the flash bang goes off and has absolutely no effect on the player. Is there some sort of perk way down the road that lets you be invincible to flash bangs, or are people just cheating?

Cheaters. I read a post earlier here about someone who knew of a hack or cvar you can use to negate the white screen of a flash bang.

I prefer the smoke or to actually HIT someone with the flashbang instead of flashing them ...

use stuns instead

im using flashbang right now and i noticed something wrong with some units but i dont put that much attention because sometimes they start too shoot everywhere and they hit u.
i cant complete that challenge yet..! :S

well i know i threw a flash bang to someone in front of me and it only affect the person in front of me and i knifed him ^^ but it was like 3 meters away

get the dvar name and we can add it to the pb enforcement list

From now on when you guys are playing and you throw a flashbang into a room before entering and then when you enter the person immediately kills you as if nothing was wrong, take a second to watch the kill cam. Half of the time it's because the person was hiding behind a piece of furniture, other times you will actually watch your flash go off right in front of the person but instead of taking like 10seconds to recover, they recover immediately as if nothing happen.

Which leads to the other question...how many hacks are there? There are probably all kinds of custom made hacks people use privately that will never get busted for it :death:

Why, what's the reasoning behind that? Seems like people would notice your hacks less the more people that were on the server...
