:angry: Yo guys I think it's time to make clear something that is really anoying and it's the "camping" and "camper" tag, since Ive been back on the Hard Core server Ive been called camper like 50 times and Butzie was decided to kick every camper in a game. Now WTF if I "camp" when sniping? I don't know you guys (because I've never seen you using a sniper) but I DONT LIKE TO HIT N RUN while using a sniper :S I think it's suicidal n stupid, as long as I know a Sniper lays down in the ground and w8 to get kills, even that is easier to kill because u know where he is... diferent than the "hit n run" tactic of Butzie =_=, now I totally agree that camping sucks, BUT CAMPING isnt the same as SNIPING: CAMPER n CAMPIG: The campes is a player that hides in a specific part of a map with an automatic or smei automatic gun and kills everyone that goes by there, the camping is when that player stills there long after killing another player to get more kills SNIPINER n SNIPING: A sniper is a player that use any sort of weapon with any kind of scope atached to kill other player at a mayor distance, the sniper usually stays in the back line of the action so he can have time to aim n shoot without wasting any bullet... See the diference, a CAMPER hides while he can "pray n spary" while a sniper just w8 to get some kills, now, a player with an AK for sure will get ammo all over the map, and if he keep moving he will get more kills A SNIPER NO, not every player carries a sniper at his back and if u try to rush the middle of a bunch of 50 sparyers with a freggin sniper, a pistol n a knife u wont make it... I totally disagree with camping, but not with sniping, and if Putzie wanna make the camping stop then disable sniper rifles, an ACOG scopes, and beliveme I would use any weap I can to snipe, cause (as many players) I like sniping more than spraying, other solutios in to wipe out sniping maps, so that will leave a hyper large Downpour game :S OR try to deal with the snipers, OK with kicking the spraying campers, but don't mess up the game, there will allways be snipers, and belive me, if you go and tell every sniper in the game in a Crossfire or Crash map "Get one kill then run" they will get the kill, then run to the building at the right, get other kill, then back to the 1st building, and they will keep "camping" both buldings, becaose anyone is SO DUMB to rush the front line against 9 - 10 sprayers with a sniper (even worst if it's R700 or a single bolt action) a granade, a knife and a pistol with supresor. I hope you guys get it, that's the way I've sniped all my life, and I dont feel like changing it, if u get killed everytime u go trough the same spot smoke it? nade it? flash it? newbtube it? EVEN airstraike it? call a counter sniper? isnt hard tho.. it's just use a little of tactics, I have to use it to set the claymores, get a spot and dodge bullets while aiming, I could spect the same of a brunch of 5 sprayers coming down the sma ecorridor...
Well put, I really dont snipe mostly because i can't aim for shit but if you enjoy that kind of play it fine by me, like you said there IS a diference between that and camping.

Hunk...I understand the difference between Camping and sniping. But, it is very possible to Camp while sniping. Unfortunately, some maps do not allow you to snipe and "not" camp. Like Ambush for instance...there are only two viable "Sniping" locations and that is in the two diagonal corner buildings in the upper rooms. These quickly become Sniping spots, but in my opinion are Camping spots. If you have a guy that snipes from there constantly...They are a camper. Cause they are constantly zoomed into that back right corner of the map where many players try to gain access to the middle of the map. This is usually the case because the middle road is usually being camped by what you called a Spray camper using a M4 or G3. I have no problem with people getting up there and getting a few shots off, heck I do it all the time! But, my definition of a "camper" is when someone always chooses to stay in one spot, whether using a sniper or other weapon. The most frustrating thing is when you get multiple people using this strategy. I can and actually enjoy playing against campers sometimes...cause you can flank them and get knife kills. But when a map, becomes what I call a "Camper's Delight" it is just downright fucking frustrating. Because what happens is this. When you get 3-4 campers on a team...the only way to combat this is to become a camper yourself. Which in turn leads everyone to become a camper. This quickly turns into every corner of every building being "zoomed" into by the same person, every time they spawn. How are you supposed to move if every corner is being camped by 1-3 people? GAY! this is when I leave the server or probably when some others start kicking for said Camping. Now, this is where our Clan draws the line. We are not a sniper clan, and we are not a camping clan. We are a fully legitimized Run and gun group of jerks. This is how most of us enjoy to play this game, and we run this place with that goal in mind. Hell, Guys like Corkscrew and Xatrix found us and stayed with us, because we value this type of play. With that said, there is a reason we run it this way. Here is why. When you have 20-30 people running around shooting each other, it is fast...it is crazy...and it gets your adrenaline going. IT IS JUST DOWNRIGHT EXCITING! I don't know how it is for a lot of the guys here, but I know for myself I get to play only a certain amount each week, and when I do, I want to play it this way. If we do not enforce "No Camping" then we get frustrated and wonder why we donate and work so hard to keep these servers going. Now, does that mean that we are gonna piss some people off? HELL YES!! But, have we ever given a fuck, who we piss off on our own servers? The answer is simply no. Hunk, I appreciate your desire to be honest about how you feel. I do, honestly. that is just the kind of guy I am I guess. Some call me gay, but deep down I value UAN for what it is. We are and always will be a run and gun clan. That is why we run modded servers like xtreme and why we always get powned by Camping bitch clans in "Scrim" Settings (lol ). So, I do not know what else to tell you. I write this "long" response, because I am tired of people thinking that we should let people ruin or servers. If you wanna play on our servers, we have a few rules. No camping, No hacking and if at all possible do not bunnyhop all the time. If you can follow these rules and throw in a few slurs once in a while on vent, you will have a solid place in our group of misfits.

Too bad [UAN]CamperBlocker doesn't fit in-game. I have to use just CamperBlocker. -_- Hunk, I fully realize what a camper and a sniper is. Why do you think I took on the name of CamperBlocker? I sit behind a guy who may be possibly sniping and watch his kills. If he gets a few kills and then waits for more people to show up, I BLOCK HIM because he is camping! I don't consider every sniper a camper, because if they move often--even staying in the back of the maps--I have NO problem with it. If you are ever blocked by CamperBlocker or any other UAN member and told to get moving, DO IT! We know what a camper and a sniper is, we have been running this shit for well over 3 years. May I note one of our rules that SCROLL IN-GAME: Bunnyhoppers and campers will be KICKED without warning!!! I am doing the common courtesy of actually just blocking people and only kicking them if they continue to camp. I seriously doubt any camper would want to be kicked without warning, don't make me start kicking without warning. Now whether you are a camper or not, the way you play seems to lean towards being a camper. Move around and snipe all you want. Take the safest route to your next sniping spot if you have to. You could possibly never have to run'n'gun if you do it that way. As long as you are constantly changing locations then we DON'T CARE!
UAN has always been about insane run and gun. It does not stress strategy, team play, or anything else. Spawn, toss your nades, spray all your bullets, die, repeat. If you really want to snipe spawns or high volume areas, you're in the wrong server. Plain and simple. It's not going to fly here. Sure it's part of the game, JUST NOT HERE. It has no business here. If we made an S&D server (which I wholly support btw) then go nuts, but this server is what it is and we're not changing it for one person, sorry. We will be happy to set up a server however you want, fork over the cash bitch. Also, I'm ahead in stats of all those listed, suck my nuts. Waffles got picked last in dodgeball
I'm too lazy to read everyones'.... Pretty much I don't mind hunk's sniping... it seems fine to me, cause I end up tubing him across the map. I know camping can be annoying at times, but his way of "camping" is w/e. And Hunk don't take anything personally when UAN says calls you names or w/e.
Hunk, you are not part of this clan so who are you to tell us how to run our non-clan clan? We have rules and if you don't like them, gtfo

I generally like hunk...and I try not to discriminate against people. Hunk...word to the wise...only camp when certain non-offending members are on. As soon as they leave you can go back to you preferred play style. That would at least be my suggestion. The only thing I have ever kicked for was repeated bunny hopping...and after asking someone several times to stop (remember Batrix?). Camping in short order ruins the fun for me...especially when you have gaytards like ihsucks sitting on overgrown sniping through a door 10 feet away... lol seriously though...just chill get on vent and most things will take care of themselves.
Ok, thanks for the explanation, and Ive been thinking on the wisdom of Zen Master Shark, Ill keep sniping, trying to change spots and Ill defenitelly stop sniping when there are more than 2 snipers on my team, and Butzie I wasnt challengin u, I was really scared xD (hahahaha ironical laugh), so let's keep it like that ^^ when my "campsniping" bother some one then tell meh to move...
