I think I'll go with razer this time. My logitech g5 worked awesome until last week, but it's a bit disappointing to see it's breaking down after just 2 years. on the other side, I heard razer mice a pretty small compared to logitech. Anyway i decided to give it a try and just ordered one, which should be here tomorrow :D
Everybody else thx for your suggestions but I have to agree with Butzie about wireless mice.... and eh... track balls?

i love my g5, my razors cord broke after a little while
my g5 has a fabric wrapped cord to prevent breakage when i throw it
also the g5 has weights, which are sort of gimmicky until you dont have them

also, my razor randomly stopped working on reboot from day one, a problem i never have with the g5

im not a logitech fanboy by far, the g5 is just a good mouse

heres a pic of my model

Yea I like the cord too. But the buttons to adjust sensitivity are randomly working/not working and that started a year ago, and now with the middle mouse button not working at all it's a piece of junk to me. The weights are a fun extra feature but I never really used them.

Ha im not a razer fanboy either, in fact, I never had one before. Im just dissapointed in logitech. I have an older model I guess and the paint is actually comming off :p Here's a pic of mine (sorry for bad quality)

so far (about 8 months) ive had no problems besides a side button sticking--but thats due to my greasy cletus juice covered hands.. also nothing a quick dissassembly and clean couldnt fix.. btw fuzzy, thanks for that dissassembly guide

feels good while playing too, you hardly know its there.. just another part of the hand while in a game..

I actually have both of those mice sitting side by side for 2 boxes. I had forgotten about the second browser button till yesterday. I don't miss it...

Just got my new mouse :D nice little thing. Can't say it's better than the g5 or the g5 is better than this one, but I got to get used to this one first. And so far me likes it :p
