For some reason I can't seem to get out of spectate mode. I immediately come into the game as a spectator and see 5 lines of "Blank_Text" something-or-other script on the screen. Even when I select a team, I go right back into spectate. Has anyone seen this before? I deleted all the old mods but that didn't fix the problem.
thats really strange. never heard anything about it. since you already deleted your mods and that didnt work, just do a fresh install. might take longer to tyr and pinpoint the exact problem
Yes, I know exactly what that is. Happened to me too. I'm pretty sure it means that you're connecting with out the mod. It's not a COD2 problem, just a mod prob. Go to your mulitplayer options and turn "Allow downloads" on, then reconnect. You may want to exit and delete the UAN2 folder in your cod2 directory since we've had a lot of changes.
That did it. I deleted the folders, re-enabled downloads and, voila, back in business. Thanks for the advice, elmo. Thanks for nothing, Waffles. And to think I almost made the mistake of listening to a gaytor. HAHAHAHA (Go Noles)
