i think the MP40 is better then the thompson

After investigating this further, I have come to the conclusion that you just suck.

The following reasons list why you suck:

• weapon files on both the MP40 and Thompson show the exact same damage values
• server config files show the exact same damage modifiers for both weapons
• current server commands show the exact same values as the config files
• all weapons are the exact same as they have always been, even back in the days before you received tags
• your ping is horrid, I haven't the slightest clue as to how you can play with +150 ping
• you bitch too much about how bad you suck
• ...and last but not least, you are a dirty mofo*

you get used to it...and for some reason cod4 gives a higher ping but you dont notice it as much as when you play cod2. And now you have to agree that the poeple with a higher ping are very good players :drunk:

since i upgraded my connection speed to 20mb it has helped a bit by giving me an average ping of 120-125 and sometimes unbelievably it been down to 100!!!!!!! excellent considering the servers about 5500 miles away!!!

you shouldnt have changed isp from aol coz then you had 3 comps playin cod2 off same connection and all 3 had lower pings than mine!!!!!!!1

The Thompson has NEVER fired the same as the MP40, and like you said, never will. Now we could make both guns EXACTLY alike, but then again, this is not how we have ever had it. We only made the Thompson ammo and damage 30 and 150, respectively, as well as the MP40 ammo and damage to 30 and 150, respectively. The way they fire, react, and how well the gun is capable of being is the same way it has ALWAYS been.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO REINSTALL THE OLD MOD AND SPEND THE TIME TWEAKING THE CONFIG!!!!

What I was trying to say is the weapon files as well as configs are the same as they have been since I started actually looking at them. The weapon files are from back then (exactly from back then, these are your copies), and the configs are the same as back then--this includes the .gsc values. If you guys want the same EXACT gun, just different names and models, that can be arranged no problem.
