here is a prob i ran into i have vista home premium at the moment, this problem started about a week ago, for some reason third party programs will have erroes and stop working mainly watever bittorrent client im using, first it was azureus, then utorrent, and now back to azureus, basically for no reason it will stop downloading watever i am downloading, then when i try to close it and reopen it it says the app is alrdy running if i go to the task manager and try to end the process it wont, it just stays there no matter how many times i try to do it and the only way to fix the prob is to restart my comp then i can open azureus again and itll be good for about a half hour before it messes up again, also i should note that when the third party software messes up and i try to restart it takes 10-20 minutes to restart the comp where as if i do it normally before anything messes up it takes only a few seconds hope someone can figure this out

edit: i forgot to mention my comp came wit mcafee antivirus it expired about a week and a half ago and i switched to zonealarm but ive been reading that it sux but dont know any other AV software for spyware and AV, if someone can recommend something for that it would be awesome in case that is wat is causing the problems

First of all, does this issue still happen with your AV turned off? If so, scrap it.

Go with AVG 8.0. It offers free AV and AS. It is good. and has a lot less incompatibilities.

    AVG Free 8.0

    fuck ya.....

get rid of that ZoneAlarm caca

AVG is the way to go for sure

every time I read anything about Vista Home its a bug or a fuckup or a general complaint

if it wasnt for all the generic Dell/HP type systems that come with it ghosted on, the entire OS would be a massive failure

Sniper still believes in XP Pro

when im scannin wit AVG if i set the speed from automatic to slow, even though i assume it takes longer, will it scan files more thoroughly, or does it not make a difference?
