cod2 patch

i get an error when i try to patch cod2 on my pc..
'A valid Call of Duty 2 installation could not be found at the path specified. Please specify the path where Call of Duty 2 is installed'

What could that be...?

what about C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2?

What is your installation directory?

Ill bet hes running his system and default install on D:/

uhm yes D:/Call of Duty 2 this is the place where i always have the game installed.. and when the patch asks where the file is.. is select that map.. and than i get the error

So you're getting the error after you pointed the installer to the right directory? You could try to uninstall the game and reinstall it again...

dont know.. 1.3 is what whe have on our server.. so i think you need to download 1.01, 1.2 and 1.3
When you connect to a server and you dont have the right version..it says you havent the right version , and i says what version you need :blink:
