You might have to deal with overscan which will make the edges of your video get clipped. The Nvidia driver can deal with it. If I remember correctly, you can adjust in the Nvidia control panel something about screen scaling.

boy are you in luck. This is why I will only use nvidia from now on. They have this thing in the control panel called Tv wizard or something like that where you just connect your tv through whatever cable you have (for me svideo) and it does the rest. Usually a reboot and it is ready to go. If that ain't there, go to set multiple displays and you can set what ever you want. Clone, Horizontal, Vertical, ect.

    Hope that helps

If you have a Stereo Receiver, does it have an optical audio port. The best would be to run a optical from your CPU to the Receiver. You can get a sound card that has one of these for really cheap (if your Mobo doesn't already have one...).

I think Intel is working on an optical CPU interface. :)

    also:
    "a" should be "an"
"optical" should be "optical cable" or "that thing nobody uses with the red light coming out of it"
"CPU" should be "computer" or "motherboard"
    and "Receiver" should be "receiver"

Don't confuse people more than you already are.

That optical port is probably an audio out. You would run that to a receiver. You should pick up a surround sound kit, and plug your new compy into it. Talk about nice sound.

also, FU fuzzy... eat a dick... :)
