setting up plasma

    bb, do you want sound coming out of your TV or you have a semi decent AV receiver? Like Shark mentioned ambiguously, if you have an AV receiver, the best option would be to hook it to your m/b or soundcard's optical out with a TOSLINK cable. That's what I have rigged up for my HTPC and it's nice as it'll pipe PCM, DD5.1, DTS, or whatnot directly to the receiver for it to decode depending on the source encoding.

    If you're stuck with the plasma display's speakers, then you'll just need to find a 3.5mm male to RCA male cable to hook your computer to the display.
