omfg i just configured quadcore vista to cod4 proper and palyed with fairly high settings... ive got a boner... im gonna put in another 8500gt tonight and check it out should be double the fps fingers crossed i thought'd id post it here seeing as tho when i come back to the forums i never get to see what the replies to my stuff in the shoutbox were... expect to see ammo ass raping cod4 again in the near future!
ok well playing with shadows really suck but then again it looks cooler and more realistic with the sun glaring down from the shadows too amazing quality this games got potentially

I just switched every possible setting up last night and i got about 15 fps which to be honest isnt really bad taking into account with all the stuff that is being processed whilst playing... never the less if i put em back at my settings which is at the lowest ever should be good... ive always played cod2 nd cod4 at the lowest resolutions only and removing as much texture as i could just to jump up that fps and make up for a crappy ping to a us server so its such a different experience to play with higher settings and a larger resolution, omg its like the accuracy of the game has gone up 400% just a quick question do i need a cable to connect two 8500 gt cards together or do i just have to slot them in together and select dual cards in cod4 options

thanks for your help guys... but im kinda screwed... ive got sli on my dual core comp... but on my quad core motherboard i havent got two slots for the freaking graphics card... so if i really wanted to hook up two cards i would need to get another motherboard... or i would have to step down to the dual core... hmmm... im just thinking to myself now maybe if i give myself another month or two i can get a new case motherboard and get myself 2 bad boy cards instead of rushing into the urge right now... hope fully i can get two 8800 gt cards for atleast £200 then... fk man all this money just to kick ass on cod4 ... im nuts! i wonder wat the minimum specs for cod5 is? i hope it isnt another one requiring better specs or ill be fuming
