Installed game a couple of times already, everything seems to go fine until i try to launch it, either multi-player or single it still does not launch the game, banner comes up, screen goes black but it goes back to desktop. No error messages come up.

Got minimum reqs more than covered
    drivers are up to date
    legit copy

    Ideas?

Hey guys.....this happened to me after i changed the windows sound settings.....

So try to see if this could fix it...

for anyone under vista is is having the 'black screen crash' then here is the fix

    1- Go to Control Panel
2- The click on "Hardware and Sound"
    3- Click on "Sound"
    4- Doble click on "speakers"
5- go to the Advanced tab
6- Set the default format to "24 Bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)"
    7- Thats it!
