CoD4 Zombie Bot mod ...

    So last night I stumbled across this mod (I think it was this mod): http://callofduty.filefront.com/file/Befor...e_Bot_Mod;93024

    It is 10 waves of zombies that spawn around the map. Your goal is to survive the round. If you die you go to spectate until the next round. Also, there are dead Marines that spawn weapons (similar to 'oldschool' mode). Anyone want to try it with me? If enough peeps like it then we could run it somehow (I think....)

    They got some issues that need worked out. I set up a server(version 2.2), but It's LAGGY as fuck when you kill a zombie.(LAGGY = 1-2sec connection interruption message)
    Here's there "fix" for it, if you read it, it doens't fix it...

    I was playing it on 8.18.92.45
    It's version 2.1 which isn't laggy at all.

    I'm not sure of the IP or the version but it wasnt laggy ... the zombie bots moved a bit wierd but that just made them more erratic...

    The zombies spawn in 10 waves each time increasing the number spawned and location. Once all are dead for a wave then the next wave starts and all dead players come back to life. During a wave the game sends out the zombies in 'surges' (couldn't think of a better word). So it will say 1,000 zombies left in the wave and 40 zombies currently spawned.

    2.2 is sooooooooo laggy
    I launched it on my comp as a test server holy crap... it has more features but laggy to the max.

    2.1 is fine. Works smoothly.

    For it to not lag, we'll have to disable Test Zombies and Zombie Dogs. I believe these are the ones that lag the server.

    I'm not really sure what the issue is with the lag.
    I played on a few other servers and they run smoothly. both 2.1 and 2.2

    I fixed the lag!
    hahaha!
    Since our paintball server has custom maps on there, I was think we should replace AWE with Zombies. :p
    But we need a vote on that.

    nvm... this mod fails...
    Didn't lag on my test server but on the UAN's. screw it.

    find us an IP for a server that doesn't fail and lets all go try it out before we just start it up on our own server.

    is it me or are the zombie in the trailer for the mod i saw flying around and their feet and arms stay still?
