AGE: 17 In-Game Name: Volks Ventrilo Name: Volks, I use Ventrilo on a regular basis to talk with friends while playing different games, but i lost my headset recently and so I've been making do with a desktop mic. I haven't played CoD 4 for about 6 months, and haven't played regularly since august. However, i recently reinstalled it on my computer (Friday) and have restarted playing on the weekends. I personally enjoy the Hardcore CoD 4 server you host to all of the others, it has more players than the others and its a true hardcore server, no killcam shtuff. I am mediocre right now because i haven't played in a while but im a pretty good player when i get into the game. I suck in comparison to my friends who all own me when we play together but im hoping that playing regularly again will get me closer to their level. I vehemently dislike cheating, (if youre gonna play a game you always win, why play?) but because i know im not gods gift to man in CoD 4, i don't cry out hax whenever someone doesn't die. Note: My computer shot itself today and prevented me from ending the CoD proccess after it froze, so i was inactive in the game, sorry for the inconvenience. If nothing else i look forward to playing on your servers, and being part of the community.
First off using alot of big words in your post is gonna confuse the fuck outta half of these asshats, myself included :whistling1: . Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay with us, age might be a slight issue as of now but stick around others have made it, ventrilo is key to getting to know ya, and a lil donation goes a long way. As to your skill level we could give two shits about it, get along with the guys and gals and accept a lil pain with others pleasure and you should be golden (and not in showers).
The only thing a humble request does is give you a sore ass and the taste of Vaseline. Believe it or not, some of us here (Canadians, mostly) do understand large words, and engage the voracity of the English language with perspicacity. As such, finding a apparent 17 year old that doesn't use the 'words' leet, lol, lulz or taint-tastic is a pleasant change. Of course you could be a douche canoe....
@ Murder Funny, some of my friends say the same thing about the words i use, i'll have to work on that. I really like absurd and weird sounding words, like quixotic, the unattainable ideal, or opprobrium, an extreme sense of shame. I heard there has been some problems due to the current economic downturn. As a note, I cannot spell for crap, so i use google chromes built in spell checker and it didnt recognize banausic. As for lol, I prefer bwhahahahaha. mostly because when i read i say the words in my head and lol doesn't sound fluid. I prefer to think that i am not a douche canoe. But, people are entitled to their opinion. I am glad to see another Hitchhiker aficionado on the forums. For those who are confused by the above words, if you search on Google (without quotes): "Define:word" where word is the word you are searching for the definition of, it will return dictionary results and links to where it found them. And I looked through my obscure word site and used words that i liked, they are interesting, no? (banausic and baragouin). A little tidbit from douglas adams to exercise your mind: It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds.
