Help me please

hello guys, is been a while... I just download COD 5 and I can play solo with no problem, the issue is that when I enter multilayer, a message shows that say something like "retrieving information" the the game quit and that's it... any ideas of the solution ?

please help me, I wanna try the online game

All this assuming that UAN server is cracked, cause it is right?

I forgot, I have the 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 patch installed

ok, I already have those servers on my Xfire, but when I try to play it kicks me out after the "Retrieving information" message :huh:

You have the servers on your xfire, but are you patched correctly, for the server you're trying to play on? Can you connect to other servers?

have you tried connecting other ways than via xFire?


like using /connect ?


take XFire out of the equation and give it a shot

To make sure you are connecting properly through xfire, just click the Join buttons on our server page. This will open xfire, start the game, and connect to the server.

here's what I have discover so far...

I install the game, install patch 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3.. then copy/paste a cracked file for codwaw (If not installed the game kicks me out after looking for registration).



when I connect to the server (using any method) it says "awaiting challenge" and then it ask me to create an online profile, of course that I can't create one so I chose NO so then the game kick me back to the title screen and a message displays saying "ERROR,lease visit the page to download the latest patch" in less words that I need to update my COD5 :S so that's about it.

my game is a copy by the way.

I'm pretty sure you need to create a profile, cracked or not. I think I had to before I bought the game.

yeah I know but the funny thing is that I can't create a proflie, I try buy after typing my profile name to be created is pop's me back to the create profile main menu :S

I think I remember that happening to me. Try creating a profile in:

C:\~\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\<Create a folder with the user you want.>

Where ~ is your appdata directory. In Vista\Windows 7 it's C:\Users\<username>\
Probably C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\ in XP
