Today, I was in the middle of a game of cod2 and all of the sudden it crashed. I have never had this problem and have not changed anything over the last few days. Here is the App Log entry for the crash: Code: Faulting application CoD2MP_s.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module gfx_d3d_mp_x86_s.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0005eb57. And here is the DrWatson entry: Code: The application, D:Program Files (x86)ActivisionCall of Duty 2cod2mp_s.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 03/27/2006 @ 21:44:43.015 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 0D9CEB57 (gfx_d3d_mp_x86_s!GetRefAPI) I googled this stuff and found nothing. My guess is that Im the only one in the whole world who runs Win2k3 x64 Server with hacked beta x64 drivers (http://www.tweaksrus.com) who has experienced this problem... If you or a friend has had this problem and have fixed it, please reply! -FUZiON
Nothings Changed When I say nothings changed in the last few days, I mean I did a clean install a few days ago...
Looks like an issue either with the ram on the Vid Card, An Issue with the Card itself, or A Sour Driver. Try running AquaMark, It'll stess the DX Drivers. If the benchmark goes all the way the through, Run the AquaMark Demo, It's actually quite Brutal On Video Cards. If that crashes it, re-install DX9, And your Card Drivers.
