loosing key packets

cletus done as u say ,done full monty format,reinstalled cod2,updated pb,updated directx,ill give it a try later,tried it laast night without the directx update,got kicked key packets,and again lost connection but thats prob my isp,ill let you know later

went on for 5mins with rockport not kicked but laggy ,have you turned down the sprint i used to be able to run to the other side of a few maps now it stops in about 10 seconds lol and also the camping thing is 2 fast put sites up missed put sites up again straight away for second shot it blew me up for camping lol

Doing what rockport said worked:
Open CoD2, open the console (~), type "seta cl_maxpackets 30" (without the quotes)
Close the game, open again and try.

Sprint should be the same... and camping is set to 60 seconds (30 if you have a scope). Firing 2 shots doesn't take 60 seconds.

i have done this cletus its on 30 lol it was ok for half an hour last night ,now im getting connection failour after 2min i give up
news flash, i have sorted it,i went into my network adapter it was set on 100 full duplex ,changed it to auto detect, seems to be fine now touch wood
