adsl config

Phoned talktalk today because of fluctuating speeds and moderate upload speed.
ping etc

To cut a long story short,i got him to drop my profile speed ,to set my snr to 6db,which brought up the upload speed,and change it from interleaved to fast the result as above,my ping never went under 151 ever im on a 8mb connection,
might help someone

When you ping the IP, it is going direct to the IP.
When you get into the server list, the ping rises due to you having to ping the actual server console.
When you get into the game, the ping rises again because there are more packets being exchanged (who killed who, etc all has to be sent to you in real time)

No problem...

I normally ping 40-50, get to the server list and it is 5 higher, and then in-game its between 55 and 65... usually.
