I am having problems with the chat in the game, I just bought a new sytem with good specs, so it should be able to run cod4 on the highest settings, but every time I change the resolution to 1600x900 the chat in the game becomes really small so its hard to read.
Any ideas on what to do?

the chat text size is the same on all resolutions, just everytime you go to a higher one, it looks smaller on your screen. mine is 1920x1080 and its really tiny.

Then you should probably set the resolution to something 4:3 ratio (your native res of 1024x768) rather than 16:9...

The bigger the resolution, the smaller stuff on screen gets. If you want a higher res, get a bigger monitor. That's just the way it works.

Ok, thanks, I didn't know the res had anything to do with the monitor, Ill set it to something a little lower

Yeah, whatever native resolution your monitor is, is the best to run.
