DROP OFF IN PLAYERS

Why is there such a big drop off in players here lately? I wanted to play like 2 days in a row and absolutely NO ONE was on. I was like WTF! I can't play with myself......... Nevermind, no comments on that guys!

The problem is that there are other games that are better. No offence to people who play CoD5, because they are hardcore fans. Problem is that when they reskinned CoD4 for WW2, they also a) Didn't innovate beyond adding the zombie mode and putting back tanks (yes, something that was included in a game 4 years older than it), and B) at the cost of not innovating, upped the specs to run the game, cutting off casual gamers.

It is not the users job to promote/hype up a product. The company either makes a good product or it fails. This time, they failed.

CoD6 (or CoD4:2) most likely will be along the same lines. Knife throwing (added in a mod in UO for christ sakes), and I believe I say chopper perspective bombardment (added in a CoD4 mod) are the only two 'innovations' that I have seen.

I don't enjoy playing WaW. Granted, my computer lags playing it (or hosting a zombie match), but as I said, there are other games which are more enjoyable, yet run smooth. Maybe EA (and whoever they get to make future releases) could learn from CoD2 and Steam, both engines run great on older hardware.

zombie in cod5 is fun as hell, but cod5 multi is a spawn fest with shitty weapons. for fucks sake the mp40 shoots slower than the stg-44

The only thing I didn't like about W@W was the multiplayer. Single player, and zombie were fun as hell.

what about the 1.5 patch , there are multiple servers with this patch, and have new weapons, new maps, in order. There are many players who prefer.

BTW: Just because they patch it, doesn't always make it a better game. It just crashes less often....

True about the new skinning (Somehow, "I told you so" just doesn't cover it), but when reskinning it, they upped the specs, causing my (and many other) computer to require an upgrade to be able to barely run it. Tru I do like the weaps on COD4 better than 5, but for some reason, my choice of play is multiplayer 5. I get ass raped every second on 4! At least on 5 I have a fighting chance. Lol. I wish the weaps on 4 could transpire into 5, and I know thats impossible becuz of the time diff, the 40's vs. now a days. Anyway, I guess I will just keep pining for 5 and hope people wanna play with me.

take into account that servers will become less populated as the school year starts, so kids don't have as much time to play, i say this because most people who play, are between 8th grade to college age students (the ones with kick ass computers). so, yes the multiplayer sucks, but as of right NOW... it will be hard to get more people in there since its school time again.

I own the game but can't run it... I was an avid COD player until it got to the point where I am so laggy it is unplayable or even it just being unplayable (remember, my 'puter sucks). I barely meet COD4 minimum specs...

Well they are gonna be losing a big chunk of players then, me probably included.

Forward progress. Give it 5 years, and any game that comes out will make your computer blow up. This same thing has been happening since the beginning of games. They get better, bigger, and more intensive. I'm not saying that makes it suck any less, but that's the way it goes.


I also doubt that it will put too big a chunk in their sales. Not to mention PS3, and 360 sales.

I too like CoD5 better but, it is what we started playing. I am sure if I had started with 4, that's what I would be used to and what I like now...BUT PPSh is my wep of choice (when I can't find a tank) and I can't seem to find one laying around in CoD4.
BTW- That sucks about you guys not being able to play because of the minimum sys requirements. Would like to play with someone else in UAN besides the couple of you that come on and kill me every now and then

PC Gaming is having a tough time because of the things mentioned. Think about it, you can drop a few hundred for a console and play all these games, most people can do that. Not as many can drop $1000+ for a gaming rig just to play MW2.

Ya Guss, Shark, Quik, Cabj, Muddr are all people that have put some bullets in my head on CoD5. I guess Imma have to sneak in, uninstall CoD4, and hide your install disks or delete the .iso's to get you guys to play CoD5 more.
