COD2 Server Suggestion

Hello everyone

I have been playing COD2 almost everyday for the past 2 years. Unfortunately UAN COD2 server is almost always empty.
I know that some of you have put a lot of effort in trying to populate the server but lately we only have 5 or 6 regulars but those guys are new players and their skills are limited. I get bored easily playing against them and thats the reason i play on other servers.
The server i play on (most of you probably know it) is the SLM clan server. Weao, Slash and some that used to be regulars on our server.
I think the reason the server is full night after night is because of the map offered and types of gameplay. It varies from DM, ESD and CTFB. There are some VIP and CHQ. ESD and DM maps are mainly rifles.
There is a voting system after each map and i must admit that we often the same maps.
With all those informations maybe we could copy what brought them succes.
This thead is not about bitching about anyone or what has been done i am just trying to be constructive about what i've seen on other server.
It would be great to have some old UAN players back on UAN server.

Like u said it s true we often play the same maps. But if we can deal with that for a period of time. Enough time to create the reflex of people to connect to our server maybe we can change it after. But the most important is to be able to vary the gametypes.
Concerning kids on server... hey aren t we all big kids playing video games ???? :unsure:
And we always have the option to kick them out.

You make a good point. CoD2 is awesome. With a little effort, maybe somebody can come up with something a bit different.

I miss OUR COD2 server being full

SLM actually has there server settings very close to ours as far as gameplay and its not too bad on there other then the constant Spanish ramblings.....

I know mini myself and a few others play on our server but when its empty He/I typically head for SLM


Id love to see ours populated again

I forgot to add to my first post...i am willing to help if anyone needs it.

I am unfortunately unable to work on any server settings for the moment...

Seen lately on SLM : Weao, Slash, Jed57, Bac*, FenixReborn,Tonka Tank (Bobby the Kid), FMDCH and many more that used to play on UAN. IF we could just get 7 guys back in i'm pretty sure more will follow.
