Galactica, Where is Everyone?

Was just wondering why there's never anyone on the new galactica server? It's pretty freakin shweet! Just wish there were more people on>

Yeah it is a brand new server mainly to test that mod out. I think we were working on getting some more Star Wars maps on it before we went full-force...

You should hop on Ventrilo--more people are likely to jump on if we know people are on it. Info is at the top left of every page.

Thanx Cletus, yeah I would of already Bern on vent a long time ago but I have a mac and mac doesn't support vent. So I'm going to run windows on it so I can, it just mite take a lol bit o time.

no need to take a break, the old maps work with the mod too. played a few games of laser tag in stock maps.

flip just needs to boot camp his mac, at current the ventrilo server runs on a codec that mac os x version of ventrilo doesn't support. soooo, he has to either parallels, (not recommended most times for gaming) or boot camp. once he gets a copy of windows to use.

i'll get to it eventually.

we got a mac gamer in EE and i give him so much shit for his OS, but now TS3 beta has mac support and better sound. I would suggest you guys switch to it.

nice editing of the better sound part. you should listen to it but then again you still play cod2 so switching to modern programs might be asking to much.,,,

When your guns are blazing, you tend not to care between a "9" and "10" codec (ranked on a scale of 1-10 for quality). Ventrilo is way better than TS2 for sure, and I feel TS3 is even more bloated than TS2. I don't like bloated programs if possible and I'm sure most of us feel the same way.

If I could customize the Context Menu order on Ventrilo, it would solve every pet-peeve I have about Ventrilo, which isn't too many.

...and honestly, how can you tell the difference in sound when you went from low quality screaming Mexicans to.... a bit higher quality screaming Mexicans?
