hi guys, i´ve installed windows 7 build 7600 this weekend and now when i try to play PB always kicks my ass... i don´t know whats going on... i am getting this... Unknown Windows Api Function 131136 the only solution i found on google was like this: First off go to control panel, and hit the "Sound" icon (this is on vista, i don't know what it is called on XP). Go to the recording tab. Right click the background and click "Show disabled devices" and then enable "Stereo Mix". Also, i've heard that plugging in a Microphone to your computer will solve this problem. but i have already a mic plugged... and there is no stereo mix where this guys says... gonna look a lil bit more if i find any solution ill post here

It's a hit or miss with Windows 7... Depends on the build. I use 7100, and it works good, so I wont change until I have to. Punkbuster is full of bitches who wont support Windows 7 until it's in production release...
I agree with boba. I recommend that you get Windows 6.1 (7100) and you should be "good to go" in concern with Punkbuster (PB). My friend and I just installed this and we have no problems with PB. Just make sure your PB is up to date and you should be set. As a side note, remember that W7 (good through August 20th, 2009) is beta and evenbalance.com has taken a pretty timid stance on the W7 beta. I am fairly excited about the W7 beta and look forward to how it will be finally implemented.

Every game I own and have tried (including COD2) will allow me to tab out and in without ever crashing. That, by itself shows me that it is a much more stable OS then XP. I have only had stability issues due to a Video card debackle.

that new taskbar blows, I never know how many directory s i got open or some other programs cuz they just stack in there, its fucking retarded
I believe you can change that back to the standard way. If you right-Click the taskbar and hit properties I believe... you should be able to change it in there. I actually kinda like the new way it works. But I am a whore for new bells and whistles.
just wondering if anyone has come accross this with win 7 7600 ultimate, installed it on mates computer{laptop} everthing fine apart from the links in email etc dont work ? googled it but there is that many answers that dont work its unbelievable,i thought someone may have come accross this bommer
hum...the only problem i encounter with 2laptops with W7 was with the no recognition of drivers for the SD cards.the rest no problems.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Cletus @ Jan 15 2010, 06:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div> to be honest im not sure its his possibly outlook, what i can gather from the phone call no links work
Regardless of which client he is using, most clients only make text a link if it looks like one (http://example.com/ or http://www.example.com/). There are a lot of different things it checks for, but without seeing any email text or knowing which email client he is using, I can't help. If he wants to send an email to cletus@uangames.net, I'll send him some test emails.
