Since I suck at DM ... what recommendations do you have for a gaming mouse. Oh and I'll still pwn you girls in the tourney too. Here's the one I'm thinking of: Razer Copperhead High-Precision Gaming Mouse - Blue/Black Model: RZC-2000 (I think I'm going to be getting a Best Buy giftcard soon).
that thing looks good heres the specs Code: 2000 dpi laser engine powered by Razer Precision features On-the-Fly Sensitivity dpi adjustment; 1000Hz Ultrapolling with 1 ms response time
I had both the razor (returned it) and the logitech G5. I like the g5 alot more. It seems to be built better and logitech will replace it if you have any problems lifetime. it has a rubber grip like my glock and a weight system. the cord is coated in nylon so it is rigid and does not get in the way. I mean the cord does not "hang" frome the mouse causing drag. it feels like a glock with all the weight, the rubber texture is the same. if only it vibrated 8O btw way i don't have a glock, but i held one before BIYATCH
I got the G5 and find it superb, though the 518 does have one more thumb button then the G5. Plus, I am now messing with the Razer eXactMat. It's totally rocks.
yeah, all the reviews complain about the single thum button. and i agree. but that is made up with the tilting scroll wheel. the 518 is bad ass too. i do like the razors shape, but the g5 is my favorite because of it's feel and build quality. i just wish it had a carrying case, i would take it to work with me. cause i am a dork, okay?
I use an old crown royal bag for my mouse. Here are some top notch mouse pads. Razer Mantis: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817114325 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817114323 ICEMAT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817114203 Ratzpadz: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817114151 Steelpad S&S: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817114704 The steelpad looks like a good bet, but razer has a combo pad and wrist rest for cheap... Icemat is a huge piece of black glass.
http://www.corepad.com/ This is sad, you want to know why. Cause I am considering buying shit from this site.
I'm impressed with the giant pad idea but I'm thinking I should stick with getting a desk big enough for it first. So the 518 is the best, eh? Is that the logitech 518 I assume? PS. Did anyone know that there is a spider on the 1 dollar bill?
Ok ... Here's the best one so far ... and it's a lot cheaper... Logitech MX 518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse Model: 931352-0403
Ive got a Razor Diamondback RZD 1600 and ive tried the logitech ones, I dont care for the weight of the things. nor the side buttons, i think they are awkward, and sensitive. my mouse has 7 buttons all of which you have to push to set off! I like the sleek feel of mine too, for extedned periods of gaming, i felt the logitech made my hand cramp up.
Truthfully, I use an mx500 for browsing, and the razer for gaming. I just like the position of the buttons on the mx500 (which is the same shape and size as the mx518 with different guts). There is a major difference in tracking between the mx500 and the razer. Funny thing is, i got the mx500 right after it came out. I got the razer the other day and I paid about the same for both...
I got a pretty weird gaming mouse it's a rtr-720 it works great. visit www.gamingmouse.com you can also customize it.
I don't know...if the mouse is anything like it's sales Rep...I may pass it up. I mean come on, dude...your surrounded by hot ladies, and your prancing around like this... shesh...I just do not know...! 8O
