So I need a new case cause my old one is shit... Im seriously looking at this one from Lian-Li. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811112110 Ive never owned a Lian-Li before and I was wondering if someone here has. My case must have a locking door over the power/reset buttons. It does not have to have a window. I dont really want to spend more than $200. And it has to be light (<30lb.) since I will carry it around. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi Buddy, I've built quite a few customs with these: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/Chas...prano_index.asp They are airframe aluminum, very light, very strong. There are a few different models to choose from, should be sommat you like. I've also use these in the past and am quite happy with them: http://www.sunbeamtech.com/PRODUCTS/Trio/trio.htm Hope this helps. X
soprano Do you know if the soprano uses a magnet to hold the door or little plastic tabs? Overall its an awesome case. Meets everything I need. Only the plastic front door bothers me cause ive seen hundreds of doors break off.
unlikely for any computer case to have a magnet in it is very unlikely. Magnets and electronics dont get along to well, and a case geared towards high end equipment especially.
magnet http://www.clearpc.ca/catalog/product_info...products_id=141 http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/custom...?productid=1079 http://www.bit-tech.net/modding/2006/02/22...cker_830/1.html Apple ibook laptops have magnets covering the screws under the keyboard: These things are tiny and dont have much of a field. There are very powerful magnets in your hard drive right? How unlikely is that?
B U R N ! Nice one Fusion. We don't have any Soprano's in STock, But may have some this week. I'll let you know. X
