Well what do you guys think so far for those that have bought the game? I want to start playing it but I have work and a interview and uni to get to today, wish I could stay up all night to play/ There is some sort of patch out already :huh:
Well i did play 4 rounds today just to check how everything look, and beside 99 percent CPU usage bug (which i hope would be fixed today) the game looks promising. Hit registration was very accurate which IMPO is the most important thing in a FPS game. Maps are pretty darn good too. Did try only SMG class cause i like to run and gun :lol: and i can tell that fire from hip is sweet accurate. So those are my very very early impressions. P.S. Is anybody know if VAC has disallowed console commands. Cause you know PB use to kick for some commands but i am not aware how VAC acting so little nervous about it.
So far... I can use these... /com_maxfps 125 /cg_drawfps 1 /cl_maxpackets 100 Have not tried to monkey with other console variables. At worst they should only cause a kick, but I do not know for sure.
Gun changes are cooler, the way the ammo is thrown up in the air. It's still fast for a really graphically good game... better than mod2? hmmm yet to max settings out. Seems like the game can be even faster. I will try multiplayer now.
knives are awesome... nades have like a trail behind them so you can see them coming... i dont know if this is going to be a gud or a bad thing theres some guys already on level 40 major system hog

I think the game is awesome! A few issues here and there amongst the obvious but I think it's pretty dam cool!
I'm going to install windows xp on one drive and win 7 on another... and just load up cod7 see if theres any noticeable differences... i wonder if treyarch upgrade their os whilst making the game? has anyone had the blue screen of death yet nice find sharky... thank god that its not just me... which at one point i did think my computer was fked... sharky u bought the game yet? I like the FAMAS with a silencer... Ghost, Steady aim, and Ninja. Oh, and my tomahawk and ballistic knives are the shit. I am really struggling with FPS. Not sure if it is a driver issue or the game performance, but my FPS goes from 125 to like 32 and back randomly. This shit pisses me off.
I don't liek the jamas, I just like the mpk5 i think it is. I'm hooked on it cos its the closest thing to a cod2 style gun. My final verdict on the game is that its the closest thing to cod2, it pushes in front of codmw, i would like to see more mods on the server and larger amount of players... having sorted out the bsod that i got all the time by putting up my gpu fans to the max i really enjoy this game... theres so many variables to challange you... i love the little knife stuff and the way you can run and ly on the floor... and all these other little detailed stuff... the closest multiplayer experience to cod2 we've had... but for some reason i still thing the graphics on wow was better... this is much more advanced version of codmw... but are we going to see more maps? or is this going to be the stunted growth of this game? i dont know what else would come after this? a game that combines all the stories in one? a cowboy stuff game? a futuristic style? ive ready theres talk about a spaceship version of call of duty (please don't it'll ruin the series). adogg update all your windows, graphics card drivers, do a spyware check, turn off any taskbar programs... and tweak your graphics settings in cod... fps should stay balance with a tolerance of atleast 25 fps either way. which gpu are you using? i'm thinking of getting a 5770 or a 4770... but im really concerned about noise levels in my computer after blasting up the gpu fan speed its so noisey i wont be able to use it as much as i would like... ive seen some suggestions which i need to balance out or i should take fuzions advice and wait for the more advanced gpus
Ammo i have Asus eah 5870 to go with E8400 cpu (overclocked to 3.6 ghz 24/7) on evga 780i sli motherboard. This setup is on the elderly side now but still run the games i play nice and smooth. Despite the fact that my cpu is bottle neck here Asus eah is a monster. Used to have two evga gtx 285 superclocked but i sold them for $420 and bought this instead for $275 2 months ago and guess what the same gpu power with less noise and less power consumption so for me that trade was win win. I believe you can find this card over ebay for less than $250 or even better look into the local lists for sale (around here we have one that is called craiglist) P.S. If you can understand my english go......yourself. Just kidding .Working on it.
