Banned from Nuketown server

Hello. I was just playing on your Nuketown server, which I had played incident-free for a couple hours earlier today. As soon as I joined, I ended up by the truck in the middle on the C side of the map (since it was DOM). I picked off a few people, then started getting flashed/concussed repeatedly to the point where I couldn't move from the spot while simultaneously defending myself. Eventually I got killed (I think I was like 8-1 after getting killed) and I was immediately kicked and banned.

Now I know camping isn't allowed, but 1) I wasn't camping in a door way with a MG, prone, just staring at a spot. and 2) I was getting concussed to hell and back so if I moved it would be like moving through pudding.

Now, if this is a time ban, then whatever, I'll keep you guys on favorites. I mean, I'm sorry for camping, but when I played before I had to make sure to move around the 2-3 campers per team that would just sit in one spot with an m60 or other LMG and almost continuously spray down the left side path to A (the one closer to B).

Thanks for posting decently we appreciate it. I can't remember if you had a temp ban or just a kick. I also don't remember every single person I kick. However I do remember you camping real hard in a few locations, you were warned you didn't listen, you were kicked, you came back continued to camp so I temp banned you. Just a word of advice, If we see camping you get kicked no questions asked. As far as the other campers who gives a fuck if we see them we kick them that's our job and not for you to worry about. Your there to play and have fun. We have two simple rules 1. NO camping 2. NO bunny hopping. Pay attention keep moving and you will have no problem.

Just for the record, I was never kicked, unless I happened to leave the server at the exact same time. Obviously if I'd have been kicked and was able to re-join, I'd have paid attention to any text from a UAN member.

That being said, I'm sorry if I missed any text. Not only does BLOPS have a very short timer for text and no way to read past messages (AFAIK), DOM on Nuketown is a fast game that isn't very conducive to reading text on a regular basis (unless it's in blue I 99% ignore it). Not sure if admins have a "say" command like they do in CS that flashes it brightly on the screen, or a PM in-game or something, or even just voice with something like "This is [UAN]Whoever, Underpants Gnome stop camping by B"

Also Bender, when I came back on, I was exclusively using the ak-47u (which I didn't have earlier b/c I hadn't reached level 17 yet) and was constantly running around when you told me to "read the rules". There are constantly people camping in the following spots on the server:
1) Doorway in the the house on A side looking down the C side hallway (the one closest to B)
2) In the garage of house A looking into the garage on C and through the door in the back
3) Upstairs in both houses, covering the pathway on the opposite side of B (where the jeep is that people always hide behind, another spot)
4) The doorway in the C side house that connects the garage to the kitchen, looking down the path closest to B on the A side of the map
5) Where I was camping on my first offense
6) In the A Spawn behind the nuclear fallout shelter, aiming down the path closest to B but on the A-side of the map (like defensive camping)
7) Behind the bus on A side, looking down the path opposite of B (by the jeep) near C side

I don't consider it camping for me to hide behind cover to reload my weapon, poke my head out and kill a few people, then continue moving on from that location. I don't know the maturity level of the members/admins here, but are you sure you're not annoyed (or at least MORE annoyed than you normally would be) because I was doing very well on the map? I've been playing a lot of Nuketown DOM and there are an awful lot of servers of it. I like your guys's server because of the low pings I get due to my close proximity; if I didn't get such good ping I wouldn't have bothered coming back to the server, let alone looking up the forums and making an appeal post.

Clearly the ban was a timed one because I was able to get back on a few hours later, but (again, this might be because I'm not paying attention) I really don't see a lot of kicking/banning, even when I type it out in chat. Would it be better for me to use voice instead and say something like "UAN members, 'so-and-so' is camping upstairs on side A, please kick"?

we know where people camp, we have members complaining about them all the time. regardless, if you are sitting for more than 30 seconds (my times used, others have their choice of time) then you are considered camping, if you are seen in the same spot more than once, we take notice of you in that spot and consider you camping... don't linger around the same areas. Our preference is run and gun, keep doing that and you'll stay under the radar.

I think you have a serious problem with me Bender. Are you just angry that I do well on the server? Btw, you're not gonna believe this, but I was switching teams to try to play on the same as one of my friends who I invited to the game, but we couldn't get on the same team cause there weren't an odd number of people.

And btw, it doesn't say "You've been banned from this server". It says "You've been kicked from this server". Then, when you try to reconnect, it says "You've been banned from this server", please get your shit together.

Also, for any interested, Bender just banned me again.... for hopping.

He tells me to stop hopping, which I find amusing because I'd say half his team is hopping/drop shotting, and I tell him that, more or less. As I'm about to finish typing "But whatever, fine, I will never jump on this server again", I get kicked and banned again.

That being said, I was under the impression that "bunny hopping" meant what it meant in Counter-Strike, which is to repeatedly jump in an attempt to throw people's aim off. All I was doing was jumping around a corner where I knew there was a guy (cause I'd just gotten killed by him), kill him, then move on.

I really like the ping I get from you guys (like literally it's usually a smooth 25-50), otherwise I wouldn't be going through all this trouble.

What are you not understanding about ITS NOT YOUR JOB TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT EVERYONE ONE ELSE IS DOING. Stop wasting our time by breaking our rules and coming in here and bitching that you were kicked. Its simple follow the rules, when your told to do something from ANY UAN member on our server you do it, keep your mouth shut and continue to play.

You must not be the sharpest tool in the shed, otherwise you would have realized that by coming in here running your mouth about being kicked, just gives us incentive to watch you even closer, in the hopes of you breaking the rules so we can get rid of you. Lay low, play by the rules, keep your gaping mouth shut on the server, mind your own business when you're playing, and I bet you will be surprised by how long you are able to play in our server without being kicked...
