Due to the recent issues that we have been having with our current BC2 server provider, we set up a new test server with another provider. We have always had good luck with LPGS (our current provider) over the past year of off and on use but recently it seems like their service has been slipping. We all have done a great job with keeping that server populated but once that rubber-banding starts it hard to keep the server full mid-day. Here is the new test server: I did a lot of research into what server cofigs seem to maintain the most populated of servers before setting this one up. Pretty much Conquest, High Ticket Count, Fast Respawn and Multi-Vehicle servers were the most popular. I actually more or less modeled this new server after some of the more popular ones that seem to stay full 24/7 and that some of our other members frequent. The new server is located in Chicago and I tested 4 others hosted there by the new provider and they all were buttery smooth (one of which Murder recommended), much better than what we have now. We already have had a good response with this new server, it was full last night from around 7PM-1AM and from around 1AM-3:30PM it was mid-full. We have both BC2 servers until the first week of August so we can play around with both and see what's better for us in the end. BTW: Search for UP ALL NIGHT in the Nam BC2 server browser and you will find the new server.
Should be able to give this a whirl this weekend, last one for today and 2 off. I think there is a beer or 12 in the near future and some choice killing of course.
Yeah I totally agree, I'm working on that right now. But other than that the server is great, good gameplay and it runs really well.
I added Hill 137 into the rotation due to multiple requests from players. On the conquest rotation, do you guy prefer if you play a full round (where you play the map once and then switch sides and play that map again) or would you prefer to play a half round (where you only play one side of the map and then change to the next map in the rotation)?
Playing 1000 tickets on the same map might be a bit much. But, those who already play on a high ticket server may not mind.
