SSDs RAID 0 Reformat Question

I have two Vertex SSDs in Raid 0. I am looking to do a reformat on these soon.

Question:

Are there any special considerations in regards to formatting them before Windows Re-install? I have never done a reformat/re-install on a SSD and was just making sure I have all of my bases covered.

I found some mentioned the use of a HDDErase program.

I answered you in Battlelog Shark, I don't know if you caught it there. No worries W7 is your friend when it comes to SSD's. When you reinstall windows, just instruct W7 installer to format the SSD drive volume. W7 will recognize that it is an SSD and format (align) accordingly. There is no special actions that you need to take. Before you do all of this I would also suggest that you take a look and see if there is any firmware updates for your drives.
