Hi guys! I've been playing on UAN's 24/7 karkand server for about 1-2 months exclusively and two things I have noticed about it are that: 1) teams are often stacked 2) tanks play too large a role in domination of the map I've already spoken with a number of admins on teamspeak and have asked about the possibility of adding team scramble. So far it seems like this is going to happen as soon as Procon is fixed. So hopefully sometime in February. Regarding fast spawn, tanks are just too powerful to have on fast spawn and compounded with stacked teams make recapturing Gatehouse (G) nearly impossible. By removing fast respawn, tanks will actually be penalized for death and give a sufficient amount of time for a competent RUS team to recapture G. I just wanted to throw out the suggestion of having it removed, at least temporarily since team scramble isn't in effect yet. Aside from that I really enjoy playing on the server especially because i'm a diehard BF fan and Strike at Karkand is my favorite map of all time. Thanks for taking the time to hop on our forums and provide feedback Yes, I would love to run a complete team scrambling plugin on our BF3 servers (similar to what we did with BC2) but many of those plugins still do not play nicely with BF3 servers. This is due to BF3 servers hyper sensitivity to RCON commands. We are currently running a very basic scrambler plugin right now, that will scramble all players not in a squad if a round is won by a certain amount of tickets. As far as spawn times are concerned, the 'Fast Spawn' is only related to player spawn times. The vehicles in-game still spawn at their default values.

The 2 tanks coming from US deployment aren't so much a problem as they'll still take time to travel back to G if RUS are recapping it. However, once the US cap G, they gain a additional 2 tanks which respawn right next to the cap point so even if RUS managed to destroy both, there would be no way for them to recap in time. I for one actually love that idea. Frustrating when your team does not defend G. Once you lose it....its damn hard to regain against 4 pieces of armor. I for one am guilty of dying then spawning G...by the time I run to BTR spawn point...its back & I start my whoring all over again.
Hey, just wanted to drop by again and see if theres going to be any changes implemented to tank spawns. Glad to know I'm not alone in thinking tank spawns are a bit too short.
That has all been fixed afaik. Now that I come to think of it, does this mean you spawn in front of a tank and get canistered in the face more often or less.. Hmmm, questions, questions.. :unsure:

Whenever us UAN'ers get on, we automatically go for F and G. If they capture them, we work together to regain them, even if there are 2 APCs and 2 Tanks around. We did it last night (and earned that win). I'd suggest, if you don't already have friends you play with, to get on TS and work together to achieve it (if you do have friends, you guys are welcome to join us on TS). If you dont' have friends to play with, hop on with us and start playing with us. Yes it can seem impossible, but hell, if your squad is good enough, it is possible. -cheers :drunk:

Like we'll blow up a tank at G and while recapping it, the tank respawns and the same dude gets back in and destroys the cap pt. And to strudels, I may just do that since I already have TS setup for your server. BTW on a side note, do your members all have a clan tag UAN? I haven't really paid attention in game.
